Exhibition–workshop by Jean-Charles de Castelbajac
25 September, 2021 – 18 July, 2022
An exhibition-workshop for children aged 4 years and above designed by french artist Jean-Charles de Castelbajac to stimulate children's artistic sensibility and draw their attention to the most powerful signs of our times.
Flags, totems and emblematic colours from his work over the past fifty years echo those of the Centre Pompidou – red, yellow, blue – forming eight educational devices based on signs, symbols and universal language.

"Pâtes au beurre" section

New
Open space dedicated to promoting friendliness, dialogue and inclusion through artistic and cultural education, the Centre Pompidou hosts now a "Pâtes au beurre" section in the Children's Workshop.
Created twenty-two years ago by Sophie Marinopoulos, a psychologist, psychoanalyst and specialist in parent-child relationships, "Pâtes au beurre" sections are free and anonymous hosting spaces dedicated to being receptive to parents, children and adolescents. With no previous appointments, parents can chat with experienced professionals (psychologists, psychiatrists, psycho-motor therapists), with or without children.
The Centre Pompidou also provides workshops in artistic practices for children.
