Located on the Chaillot hill, the Musée d’Art Moderne de Paris – City of Paris Museum of modern art museum – houses a rich collection of over 15,000 works, representative of 20th- and 21st-century artistic movements and reflecting the vitality of the contemporary art scene.
Exceptional in situ works such as La Danse (The Dance) and La Danse inachevée (The Unfinished Dance) by Matisse or La Fée électricité (The Electricity Fairy) by Raoul Dufy complement a selection of 500 works that are accessible free of charge year-round in the permanent collection galleries.
The museum also offers a dynamic program of modern and contemporary art exhibitions.
