For its 19th edition, the Prix Marcel Duchamp prize presents projects with very dissimilar artistic backgrounds and, thanks to the choices of the selection committee of the ADIAF, thus reflects the diversity of practices coexisting in France today.

Éric Baudelaire, a film-maker by predilection, builds up a generous exhibit using a film shot over a long period with schoolchildren in the Seine-Saint-Denis department.
Katinka Bock and Marguerite Humeau propose two different approaches to sculpture: while the first presents a meticulous reinterpretation of the legacy of a contemporary sculpture that highlights a fragile materiality, the second establishes a poetic reconnection with the narrative tradition, promising her own version of new mythological subjects, based on scientific premises anchored in the present.
But the most unique event in this edition is the return of painting, long absent from the Prix Marcel Duchamp prize, reintroduced through Ida Tursic and Wilfried Mille's mischievous project: the duo questions in a seriously prankish manner the very possibility of painting today.
