Alain Buffard

Choreographer Alain Buffard's latest creation, (Not) a love song, features Miguel Gutierrez, Vera Mantero and Claudia Triozzi, and explores a novel art form: musical tragedy. "I've been wanting to take on musical comedies for some time now. They are a tough genre, and I fancied contaminating the musical and theatrical codes that I have always looked to for inspiration, and the singularly broad variety of musical, visual and emotional climates they encapsulate.
