« RRR on LRS : un étrange sentiment de « déjà vu ». La Lebanese Rocket Society qui faisait la une de tous les journaux est aujourd’hui totalement oubliée, décalée par rapport à notre imaginaire et la représentation qu’on a de nous-même. Notre recherche liée à ce projet spatial (le fi lm et les oeuvres qui en découlent) tentent de faire ressurgir cette aventure enfouie pour réfléchir les productions d’imaginaires et la réécriture de certains évènements de l’Histoire et, loin des tentations nostalgiques, de la réactiver au présent à travers ce qu’en anglais on nommerait “ Reconstitution, Reenactement and Restage ” ».(J. “RRR on LRS: A strange feeling of “déjà vu”. The Lebanese Rocket Society that once made the headlines of all the major newspapers has now sunken into oblivion, pushed from our imaginary and disconnected from our self-image. Our research related to this space project (the film and the art works) attempts to bring this buried story back to life in order to reconsider the rewriting of certain historical events and the production of the imaginary, and, far from the temptations of nostalgia, to revive it through what is known as ‘Reconstitution, Reenactment and Restaging’
