An ode to femininity, embodied by five female dancers as they discover an energy buried in the liberating groove of Funk music. Capable of liberating new life forces, the animal soul of Oona Doherty's dance flirts with taboos.
Physical theatre casting a critical eye on society, Oona Doherty's work plays with the limits that separate the public from the stage. Following on from Hope Hunt & The Ascension into Lazarus and Hard to Be Soft - A Belfast Prayer exploring the male world of the streets of Belfast, with Lady Magma this Northern Irish artist composes a Dionysian and sensual ritual with a seventies flavour.
