Cum as Your Madness is a horror musical comedy that subverts the codes of pornography. It plunges us into the witchcraft trials and the brutality exercised against women who deviated from societal norms in early modern Europe.
The film takes the form of a first-person simulation/exploration game. However, the rules of the gameplay are constantly overturned, leading to a contradictory and incomprehensible world in which the artist plays and does not play her own role. Cum as Your Madness explores the correlation between the patriarchy, sexism and religious fanaticism that fired the witch hunts. The characters' goal is to reappropriate violence as a means of political and sexual liberation by examining the link between BDSM (bondage, domination, submission, sado-masochism) and intergenerational trauma experienced by women.
The roleplay environment is used to examine the origin of fairy tales and the archetype of the witch in order to overturn the patriarchal order by concentrating on the bodily experience of the "monster-women". There is no way to emerge victorious because Cum as Your Madness is a game that plays you. The conclusion is imminent but it may never be materialised.
