This exhibition held at the Tokyo University Art Museum (3rd July - 11th October 2010) and at Fukuoka art museum (23rd October 2010 - 10th January 2011) aims to fulfil Chagall's wish; the artist declared to historian Alexandre Kamenski that he wished for his work to be presented alongside those of the Avant-Garde artists of his country .
