Choreographer Emmanuelle Huynh decided to broach Le Grand Dehors (Grand Outdoors) and its lyrics, music and dance, from what she calls its depth: the movements, positions and attempts that never quite made it beyond the rehearsal stage, but which ultimately helped to fashion the piece. "I want to echo things I didn't see yesterday and which intensely figure or disfigure the world today." EH.
