Les Spectacles Vivants will be staging Looking at Tazieh, Abbas Kiarostami's take on Tazieh epics, a traditional and popular Shiite mourning rite - and the only form of representation that Islam tolerates - during the Erice-Kiarostami : Correspondances exhibition from 19 September 2007 to 7 January 2008. Iranian spectators are this video and staged installation's only actors. Kiarostami uses three giant screens to shifts viewers' gazes from the ceremony to the hoards of people and their feelings.
