Thomas Hauert - Fredy Vallejos

Intepreting a radiophonic piece "for listening to" in movement: since his childhood in Switzerland, Thomas Hauert has been fascinated by programmes that take us into worlds without images. For his new creation, he joins forces with Fredy Vallejos (whom he met at IRCAM during the ManiFeste-2012 Academy), a viola player and seven dancers from his company. Together they invent a polyphonic abstract piece where sound and movement depict a cloud of sensations. Does this short-circuit our thinking and reasoning, or stimulate our bodies through immersion and empathy? Halfway between improvisation and composition, the choreographer invites us to master the volatility of our consciousness.
