Simon Starling revisits the history of forms, and questions the ideas of the value, production and status of objects. His works are based on acts of transformation and hybridisation, actions of displacement, and interventions in situ. Methodically deconstructing material and context, Starling creates unexpected links between areas with no apparent affinity, with distant temporalities.
