This delicate group from Iceland transports us with their “volenska” to another world. They have invented their own melodic language made up of sounds that flow one after the other, a language that is as untranslatable as it is understandable to one and all. A screening of the musical documentary Heima produced by Dean DeBlois (2007) shows a series of concerts given by the group in Iceland in the summer of 2006.
