This programme presents three important artists from the field of new media, each in their own way illustrating recurring traits in Norwegian design: the omnipresence of nature, the peculiar relationship that it has with towns and cities, existential questions, the sharpness of the Norwegian eye, and all devoted to the outdoors. The first two artists, A. K. Dolven and Per Maning are alike in that they have both been the subject of exhibitions at the Munch museum in Oslo, and in that they have both been influenced by the Norwegian master. The third, Thomas Kvam, uses new pieces of technology in order to put a voluntarily provocative political spin on the world; the video Eurobeing is a brilliant example of this.
