Philppe Fénelon

Music that arouses emotions by constructing vast dramaturgies of sound: this precisely is the art of Philippe Fénelon, author of a catalogue of over one hundred Works, both instrumental and vocal. Fascinated by literature, the composer appreciates opera in particular: from "The Knight Imaginary", after Cervantes and Kafka (1992) to "The Cherry Orchard" after Chekhov, presented recently at the National Opera House of Paris, he has erected lyrical art as the major pillar of his creation.
