Deux récits s'entrelacent, l'un issu d'un soap opera que diffuse la télévision, l'autre, d'une jeune femme qui le regarde chez elle, à Saigon. Le récit télévisuel d'un enfant à la recherche de son père dans le delta du Mékong se superpose au quotidien de cette téléspectatrice vietnamienne que suit la caméra.

Two stories intertwine. One is that of a TV soap opera, the other is about a young woman watching the programme at home in Saigon. The T V story of a child in search of his father interlinks with the daily life of the Vietnamese woman, whom the camera follows.
