The Centre Pompidou presents a retrospective of Norman McLaren, a pioneer of films painted directly onto celluloid. McLaren has been awarded more than 200 prizes for his work, including an Oscar in 1952 for Voisins and the Palme d'or for best short film at the Cannes Film Festival in 1955 for Blinkity Blank.
