The Parliament of Artworks
21 - 27 Jun 2021

The event is over
After being closed for months, the Centre Pompidou invites you to bring artworks back to life by lending them your voice! Become their spokesperson by attending the "parliament of artworks", a public speaking programme organised around modern and contemporary art.
Your mission? To bring an artwork to life with your words and your personality. For one week you will live at the pace of the collection of the National Museum of Modern Art, in close contact with artworks which will reveal their stories and their greatest secrets to you!
Thanks to the workshops conducted by the Centre Pompidou mediators and the moderators of the Eloquentia association, you will learn the art of using words and interpreting your text before a public.
You will thus have all the skills you need to sing the praises of your artwork, live in the Centre Pompidou during the special "Art returns to life" weekend on 26 and 27 June.
Programme:
21 June – 11.30 am to 1.00 pm: discovering the Centre Pompidou collection
22 June – 10.30 am to 12.30 pm and 1.30 pm to 3.30 pm: writing workshops and games
23 June – 9.30 am to 11.30 am: writing and artistic argumentation
24 June – 9.30 am to 11.30 am: oral and stage expression
