Laura Bossi

Born in Milan (Italy) and based in Paris, Laura Bossi is a neurologist.
Laura Bossi has authored many scientific publications mainly in the areas of epilepsy and neurodegenerative disorders. Her book Histoire naturelle de l’âme (Presses Universitaires de France, 2003) has been translated into Italian and Spanish.
Laura Bossi has participated in numerous thematic exhibitions dealing with the relationship between the history of art, the history of ideas and the history of science, including "Melancholy" (Paris, 2005) and "Crime and Punishment" (Paris, 2010). Following the latter, she directed an interdisciplinary colloquium at the Fondation des Treilles, "Crime et folie", the proceedings of which are published by Gallimard (2011).
She was general curator of the exhibition "The Origins of the World. The Invention of Nature in the 19th Century" (2021), which took place at the Musée d'Orsay.
