Hypnotic visions emerge from the impenetrable autobiographical narrative, sometimes evoking the mineral and plant world, sometimes the oceanic or cosmic expanse.

Until 2005, Lambert worked in an adapted timber processing factory. A resident of La S Grand Atelier (Contemporary and Outsider Art Centre in Vielsalm), he devotes himself to drawing with the aim of recording the story of his life on paper. Each line of writing crosses the sheet from one end to the other, creating colourful, moving succession of undulations. Over time, the letters merged with the chromatic material to form sedimentary strata of layers of memories. The underlying narrative hints at the intensity of the emotions successively recorded in the abstraction of a mental landscape.
