An evening with Frédéric Nauczyciel will underline the emancipatory political charge of Voguing, a performative dance born in the 1960s in Harlem. Frédéric Nauczyciel met voguers in Baltimore, then in Paris, who constantly invent the contemporary forms of voguing.
Their flamboyance of fireflies, which the artist confronts with Baroque sophistication, evokes the gleams of resistance from marginal cultures, as well as their dimensions, both expert and scholarly.
