Patrick Frey publishing (Zurich) has published some classic artists’ books by Fischli/Weiss, Walter Pfeiffer and Jean-Frédéric Schnyder, as well as "Hot Love" about the punk scene and the Swiss New Wave and "Ma Ligne" by Fuzi, an aesthetic view of the destruction of railway lines in the western suburbs. The outstanding feature of the story of Edizioni Periferia (Lucerne), founded just over twenty years ago, is its collaboration with Dieter Roth. Books by Dieter Roth that they have published include "Tränen in Luzern" [Tears in Lucerne], a compilation of newspaper articles. Periferia is also, with Pro-Helvetia, the publisher of artists’ notebooks devoted to the young Swiss art scene.
